About this Position

This position of Content Writer will lead projects that establish content management best practices, localize technical content for new regions and develop web and mobile applications that make content more accessible. This position requires someone who has a passion for learning. This role develops skills with documentation and content management. We are looking for an individual who thrives on empowerment and accountability. This position is on the Learning and Information Development team.

Responsibilities for You

  1. Develop, scan the web and extract relevant information to write about a particular product
  2. Create or copy-edit (the process of reviewing and correcting written material to improve accuracy, readability, and fitness for its purpose, and to ensure that it is free of error, omission, inconsistency, and repetition) to provide most accurate information for our customer, promote or sell the product or service within the website
  3. Passion for learning, exploring, documentation and content management
  4. Develop and implement style guides for existing content
  5. Deliver high-quality documentation (accurate, complete, discoverable, usable), checking for errors in spelling, grammar, and hyperlinks
  6. Produce content to entice and engage visitors so they continue browsing the current webpage
  7. Create content using appropriate focus keyword, better helping on Search Engine Optimization
  8. Check for keywords or generate a keyword and research limitations for the keywords
  9. Follow best practices to ensure documentation meets the standards for quality, graphics, format, and style. Your work is accurate, and you strive for excellence
  10. Create content that allows the site visitors to get the proper information about the product so trust on our website increases
  11. Identify product and documentation improvements that would benefit customers. Make the necessary changes in the documentation
  12. Manage all aspects of the documentation process—from planning to content maintenance

Basic Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Communications or another technical communications-related field
  2. Information architecture design and/or Content Management System (CMS) background
  3. Highly motivated on content writing with some previous work experience
  4. Mere knowledge on how websites work (or ready to obtain training for the same)
  5. Know beforehand about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and how it impacts the overall content
  6. Experience with project management, handling multiple competing priorities, and taking ownership to drive projects to completion
  7. Willingness to learn and apply new approaches or technologies that have a positive impact on the customer experience
